General Recommendation for the Award of Credit
Assessment of the Advanced Training
Programme Modules’ Workload Based on the
Results of the Comparison of Content
The outcomes of both directions
of the comparison of content allow
for estimation of the workload of the
advanced training programmes’ mo-
dules.
The estimation results in:
Innovation Management = 2.22 CPs
(rounded to 2)
Technology Management = 2.26 CPs
(rounded to 2)
It was not feasible to directly estimate
the workload of the programme module
“New Technologies” due to a lack of co-
verage of its learning outcomes by those
of the reference degree programme.Since
the three modules of the advanced trai-
ning programme require approximately
the same working efforts, the workload of
the module “New Technologies” has also
been estimatedwith 2 CPs.
All in all the advanced training program-
me “JOSEF” comprises a workload that is
worth 6 CPs.
The estimation of credit points was based on this formula:
CP:
Credit Point
MAT
: Module of the advanced training
programme
k
: Number of course units (of the degree
programme) that have a substantial
match with theMAT (JOSEFmodule)
CC
: Coverage of content in percent
CU
: Course unit of degree programme
