General Recommendation for the Award of Credit
This general recommendation for
the award of credit is based on the re-
sults of an equivalence check between
the advanced training programme „Eu-
ropean Manager for Foreign Trade - Ex-
port / Import - EMfEI“ and a reference
degree programme.
In the equivalence check the learning
outcomes of the advanced training pro-
gramme were compared with those of
selected study modules of the reference
degree programme.
Using the results of this equivalence
check, the workload of the training pro-
gramme and its respective learning units
were estimated.
Furthermore, the level of the advanced
training programme and its learning
units were estimated using the „Module
Level Indicator“ method (MLI) (Gierke &
Müskens, 2009).
The results of the equivalence check
conducted by the expert examiner
were analysed by the staff of the
Kompe-
tenzbereich Anrechnung
and form the basis
for this recommendation for the award
of credit.
Additionally, this general recommen-
dation for the award of credit inclu-
des further information about the
advanced training programme that is
comparable to the content of a mo-
dule guide of a degree programme.
Therefore, it can also be perceived as
a „translation of the advanced training
programme reflecting tertiary educa-
tion guidelines“.
The equivalence check procedure as well
as the tools and methods applied comply
entirely with the „Leitlinien für die Quali-
tätssicherung und Verfahren zur Anrech-
